The Secretary/Treasurer of every club has the opportunity to be recognized as a Master Secretary/Treasurer by the North Texas District. An award will be presented based on fulfilling the following requirements:


1.Mail the required Pride Report President's to the International of­fice by September 30th• (Or fill in online.)


2.Pay dues to Optimist International and the North Texas District so as to be received by dates due:

District: Oct 1 - March 31 due on October 15th

April 1 – Sept 30 due on April 15th

Optimist International due on October 15th, January 15th, April 15th, and July 15th.


3.Mail (or do online) new Officer-Elect Report form to Optimist International, District Governor, District Lt. Governor and District Secretary/Treasurer by May 20th•

Note: Optimist International bylaws require that election of club of­ficers be conducted not later than April 30th•


4.Mail Club Roster Adjustments and Club Change Notices as soon as any change in the club occurs. Can be done online.


5.Club Secretary/Treasurer must officially register their attendance at 75% of the District Quarterly Meetings.


6.Community Projects Awards entry mailed or delivered to the Activities Committee Chairperson by September 30th•


7.When newly appointed (first time to be Secretary/Treasurer) at­tendance at the Secretary/Treasurer training conference is required.


8.Secretary/Treasurer must maintain perfect attendance in their home club (honor system).
